DICK WHITTINGTON - The Rock 'n' Roll Panto

Clwyd Theatr Cymru

It’s rock ‘n’ roll panto time again!

The successful team of director Peter Rowe and designer Judith Croft who have created the recent hit pantos Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin and Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood, are back with another seasonal smash for Christmas 2012.

The story begins in London Town where it’s Lord Mayor’s Day. Things start to go wrong when up pops King Rat to ruin the celebrations and drag young Alice Fitzwarren down into his lair. Dick Whittington, with his friend Thomasina the Cat, and supernatural help from Fairy Nuff, sets off in hot pursuit. Who will Alderman Fitzwarren choose to be the next Lord Mayor? Will his bumbling assistant Billy No-Mates keep his job in pest control?

A cast of 10 multi-talented actor musicians spice up the traditional panto magic with a string of over twenty hit songs. Dick Whittington - The Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto is the perfect festive treat for all the family!

For the best choice of seats early booking is essential – book now!
