By: David Mamet

“I swear it's not a world of men…it's a world of clock watchers, bureaucrats, officeholders what it is, it's a f****d up world there's no adventure to it. (Pause.) Dying breed. Yes it is. (Pause.) We are the members of a dying breed.”
America in 1984. Capitalism is in its heyday and money is king. In the dog-eat-dog atmosphere of a real estate office in Chicago, four salesmen are locked in a fierce competition. The man with the most sales wins a Cadillac, the loser gets fired.
Part thriller, part searing examination of the dark side of the American dream, David Mamet’s play won four Tony awards and was made into an Oscar-winning film starring Al Pacino and Kevin Spacey. Directed by Clwyd Theatr Cymru Associate Director Kate Wasserberg following her acclaimed production of Roots by Arnold Wesker and her recent success with Gaslight by Patrick Hamilton and Bruised by Matthew Trevannion.
